These blanket editions are woven as if walking a path. Each one corresponds to a walk I've done in a specific location. This edition was woven after walks in Oakland, CA. This creates a cloth with no repeat, as the constantly changing path winds over the piece. For me, weaving is a physical record of time and place, so each blanket is embedded with unique markers that can't be replicated.
This one of a kind blanket features a natural warp and a multi-colored warp.
